Continuing the Legacy: Welcoming the Newest Member of our Firm

At The Abel Firm, we’ve always believed that the strongest foundations are built on trust, compassion, and commitment – values that have guided our practice for decades. Today, we are proud to share a deeply personal and exciting milestone in our firm’s story: the newest member of our team is someone who has grown up with the heart of this firm in her DNA.

We’re thrilled to welcome Avery Abel, daughter of our founding attorney, Robert Abel, as an associate attorney at The Abel Firm.

From a young age, Avery watched her father fight tirelessly for clients who were facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives. She saw firsthand what it means to stand up for justice, to listen with empathy, and to never back down when advocating for those who’ve been wrongfully injured. It was in those courtroom moments, late-night case reviews, and heartfelt conversations with clients that her passion for personal injury law was born.

After earning her law degree from Cardozo School of Law and gaining valuable legal experience along the way, Avery is now stepping into the courtroom herself – not just as a lawyer, but as a proud continuation of a legacy rooted in advocacy and integrity.

“I’m incredibly honored to join the firm my father built with such dedication,” Avery says. “My goal is to not only follow in his footsteps but to carry forward his mission of giving a voice to the injured and fighting for justice with compassion and conviction.”

While Avery brings her own unique strengths, energy, and perspective to the team, she shares the same unwavering commitment that has defined our firm from day one.
