Skateboarder v Motor Vehicle

Venue: San Francisco County Superior Court
Facts: A 20 year-old college student was skateboarding on Fell Street in San Francisco. As Plaintiff entered the intersection of Fell and Divisadero Streets a car driven by defendant made a right turn at approximately 2 miles an hour and struck Plaintiff’s left leg. Plaintiff was ejected from his skateboard and sustained a trimalleolar fracture of the left ankle. A left ankle surgery was conducted with implantation of hardware.

Facts: Plaintiff was driving on a City Road that had a sharp right hand curve.
